Trauma can arise from any overwhelming experiences, neglect, chronic stress or sudden loss. It is deeply personal, only we can define what has felt traumatic to us . In trauma-sensitive yoga, we honour this individuality by creating space for choice, agency, self-awareness and self-empowerment.
